Celebrating 60 Years of Faithful Pastoral Leadership
In July, Little Jerusalem A.F.M. Church of God joyfully celebrates the 60th Pastoral Anniversary of Bishop James A. Truss Sr.
For six decades, Bishop Truss has faithfully served God and His people through prayer, preaching, and unwavering commitment to holiness and truth. His life and ministry stand as a testimony of God’s faithfulness across generations.
A Legacy of Gospel Broadcasting
For 59 years, the radio broadcast ministry of Little Jerusalem A.F.M. Church of God has faithfully shared the Word of God with listeners near and far.
Through prayer, preaching, and encouragement, this ministry has reached homes, hospitals, and communities across generations — extending the message of hope beyond the church walls.
We thank God for His sustaining grace and for every listener who has been touched through this long-standing broadcast ministry.
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
— Romans 10:17

OUR MISSION, VISSION, WHO WE ARE?
OUR MISSION:
To glorify God through holiness, love, and service--reaching souls through prayer, teaching, and the power of the Holy Ghost.
OUR VISION:
To be a beacon of light in our community, helping lives be transformed by the Word of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit, while strengthening families through faith and fellowship.
Our Vision for the Future
As we continue to serve faithfully, Little Jerusalem A.F.M. Church of God is prayerfully preparing for future outreach initiatives designed to strengthen our community and support the next generation.
Our vision includes expanding youth services through tutoring, after-school care, and entrepreneurial training, as well as developing opportunities for at-risk young adults to participate in community and church restoration projects. Through mentorship, skill-building, and faith-based guidance, these programs are intended to promote responsibility, purpose, and hope.
With the support of partnerships and grant funding, we seek to restore lives, renew hope, and extend the love of Christ beyond our church walls for years to come.“
